Domino reported a successful Label Congress, as the company was able to network and educate attendees about its wide range of digital and hybrid printing products. Product experts were on-hand to discuss converters’ label printing requirements, and distribute label sample packs and brochures.

According to Bill Myers, marketing manager, Domino was impressed by the high quality of attendees at Label Congress, many of whom were seriously looking into expanding their printing capabilities with digital or hybrid.

“We had some great conversations and feedback for our digital technologies,” explains Mike Barry, key account and OEM manager, Domino Digital Printing North America.

During the show, Domino detailed its newest partnership with Mark Andy, featuring the Digital Series IQ platform, which utilizes the Domino N610 integration module. Domino also boasts longstanding relationships with MPS, CEI, ABG, Rotocontrol and several other industry players.

“We were definitely answering a lot of questions about hybrid printing, especially when comparing standalone digital to hybrid and what’s best for their applications,” says Barry. “We talked to a number of people who are in the beginning stages of examining digital technology. Some of the people may have had existing digital technologies and were looking to take that next step and others were getting into digital for the first time.”

In addition, Mammoth Labels & Packaging was on-hand, touting the capabilities  Domino N610i digital UV inkjet press. Mammoth grew its digital sales 93% in 2020.
